With more than 33 years of executive management experience, Michael Mace is highly accomplished in the areas of business development, real estate and finance development, and executive team facilitation. In 2005, he transitioned in his career by accepting the position of President of Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. Utilizing his extensive business experience, Mr. Mace helped the college efficiently overcome a serious financial crisis. His ambitious leadership helped Rocky Mountain College to achieve a 40 percent increase in endowments and a 20 percent reduction in debt in just two years. He also helped increase new enrollment growth by 59 percent. Under his leadership, the college successfully achieved full reaffirmation of its accreditation. Beyond his role as President, Michael Mace previously served as Trustee at Rocky Mountain College and is Current Chairman of the Rocky Mountain Technology Foundation in affiliation with the Billings Clinic/Rocky Mountain College.

In addition to his current work in academic administration, Michael R. Mace also currently oversees the investment management operations of Mace Holdings LLP. Previously, he served as Founding Partner of the asset holding company Sterling Acceptance Corporation/D&M Industries in Fargo, North Dakota. The company focused on investments in emerging middle market manufacturing construction supply firms.

Mr. Mace earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Montana State University and went on to study Business Administration at the University of Minnesota, Carlson Graduate School of Management. During the course of his career, he has achieved a number of leadership positions with local organizations. He has previously served as a Board Member of Yellowstone Art Museum, a Board Member of Big Sky Economic Development Commission, and a Board Member and President of the Montana Captive Insurance Association. In his personal life, Michael R. Mace enjoys spending his free time outdoors hiking, hunting, and fly fishing.
